Breakdown

I believe that bullying can only be effectively addressed by inspiring students and parents to become emotionally intelligent leaders. Through my fun, engaging, inspiring presentations, I empower students to develop essential skills for leading with emotional intelligence, both in school and beyond. This approach helps them navigate emotional challenges in various settings. Students will also enjoy role-playing activities, have the chance to win prizes, and participate in an interactive Q&A session.

Part 1: Confidence

The first part of my speech begins by helping students create a comprehensive checklist designed to build and reinforce their self-confidence. I focus on a critical concern: as students engage with social media, they often experience feelings of inadequacy that can diminish their self-esteem and contribute to bullying. To counter this, I guide them through three essential questions aimed at enhancing their self-esteem, both in school and in their broader lives.

Who do you talk to the most each day?

How do you mostly feel afterward?

What kind of decisions do they trigger?

_

Part 2: Goals

In the second part of my speech, I emphasize the importance of focusing on the right priorities to create meaningful change. In today’s fast-paced digital environment, constant notifications can be a major distraction, making it harder for students to concentrate. By reducing screen time, students can regain mental clarity and improve their overall well-being. To help with this, I guide them through three key questions designed to establish an effective goal-setting system. This process allows students to prioritize their efforts and boost their productivity.

Questions to be discussed:

Who do you truly want to be?

What habits you need to adopt?

Who is important in your life?

Part 3: Support

In the last part of my message, I encourage students to find a supportive classmate (an accountability partner) that can greatly boost their student’s self-worth and help counteract the negative messages that come from bullying. Afterwards, students will take on my popular 7-day anti-bullying challenge.

Q&A and The Pledge:

Students will get to ask questions about what they learn or current situations they may need help with. Afterward, they recite the following pledge:

I will commit myself/
To open my heart and mind/
To becoming a better leader/
I will face all of my challenges/
In and out of school/
With love, hope, and purpose/
